Hi, thanks for visiting. I am Lizzy the initiator of ID-Sphere and a strong believer in sharing knowledge, hence the reason for this site. Although it seems contradictory to share knowledge with fellow competitor interior designers it is long proven that rich cross fertilization happens when individuals start sharing their knowledge with each other and while doing so become stronger and richer in knowledge themselves.
A beautiful example of this can be found in the IT open source community. Without this community this site would probably not exist. It uses an Apache server, supporting PHP and MySQL and uses the Wordpress bogging software. All open source software written by and for the community for free. Apache was so successful that even IBM abandoned his own server software to join forces with the open source community. It just shows how powerful individuals can be if they share knowledge.
So with the same philosophy I have created this site focusing on contemporary Interior Design. No paid memberships, no gathering of emails or contact details for the purpose of direct marketing. It has become quite sickening lately how ingenuous some practices have become to make some money at the end of the line. How unbiased is editorial content these days with all the advertising possibilities?
Well as long as I have something to do with it nothing of such sort on this site. The only money to be made here is the money one can make from using the knowledge one can gather on this site. And in this respect the odds in doing so are for everyone the same.
So the only form of payment accepted here is knowledge. If you think you have something that is worth sharing then please by all means do so.
Although for now I am the driving force behind this site I truly hope that soon I will not be the only one directing the course of ID-Sphere.
