Not sure exactly if I am reading this right. If you refer to the fact of using 3D computer presentations to present to a client then the answer is yes, I find it very useful. Clients often don’t have the spatial visualization to read a plan and imagine what their interior is going to be like with an accompanying mood board. 3D is great for that I find.
On the other hand if you are referring to the use of 3D services who do the renderings for you I wouldn’t know. I have never used these services before.

I was just curious how is it in here, because we are the company specialized in making renderings for architects, interior designers and developers and we cooperate permanently with them.
If You would like to see it just visit our site: http://www.pracownia3d.pl and then http://www.lightorigin.com which is still in build but will be available from Monday.

So how does this work in terms of textures. Do the architects supply you with textures or do you have a database of textures the architects select from. What type of file formats do the architects and interior designers supply you (or are you able to work with?) What do you supply back (3D rendered files, 2D images?) Would be interesting to know.

We own the libraries of models and textures, but of course it is much more convenient to have the samples of the textures. That allows us to see how the textures are acting, how do they react for the lighting etc, and map these textures accurately. These samples don't have to be big, just little pieces of leather for example.
We are working on formats: DWG, PDF. Then we create the fully three-dimensional visualisations (or animations – walkthroughs, flythroughs..). Everything is created in three dimensions. We don't use any 'flat' pictures, that's why it is very easy to make an animation from our visualisations.
The rendered images we send mostly in formats JPG, TIFF.

Hi
I too have found 3d images very beneficial to allow clients to visual their scheme before commencing works. I use a company called ivisualise3d and they are amazing!
I communicate my thoughts to them and each time the visuals are great and at very low cost compared to many other companies. The turnaround time is also very fast!
If you fancy a look their website is http://www.ivisualise3d.com....

3D design help you to visualise and experiment with different colours, furniture and see what works for you and helps you to save money and avoid costly mistakes that may be made when buying paint or furniture.
Mydeco's 3D planner does just that. It does help as it allows you to experiment wildly with different colours and test things out before you commit to buying them which is great. Also saves a lot of time and money when decorating or designing a room too.

Autocad is simple to use and most used software. It increases the speed of design. In it drawing tools are given which are much helpful in designing. I have used this software. The drawing icon includes shapes and pencil to create designs according to the choice.
