Very interesting design ideas. Especially this one: http://www.freegreen.com/whosn…../334_1.jpg

It looks like a perfect house for childrens but also for retired persons. If I would have enough money to buy a second house than I would definely use this design.

Btw the other designs are interesting too. :)

This is a really cool new way to build a house, these designs look so perfect for a family with kids. Houses like these cost a lot of money during construction but will save a lot in the end.

The greatest green home I ever saw looked over a cliff and had several quality design factors that made it green. The huge glass windows were faced so that they would draw the heat in the winter and keep the heat out in the summer. The floor was heated with hot water, which kept the room sufficiently warm. There was also proper ventilation for a draft to keep the rooms cool during the summer. The house had everything. The owner was an architect. Go figure right?

Do you remember who the architect was?  Would be nice to look up the project.

Was it Cliff House by Altius Architecture, Inc? Self-sufficiency was a key client mandate and the project is completely off-grid.

Amazing.

The Eco Trend is a blessing.

But I'm afraid it is going to die out without further government assistance.

What do you think?

Thanks for sharing this link :) It feels good to know that people are thinking of designing their homes in a sustainable way. Green decor can be brought home in every aspect, right from furnishings made of natural fabrics to use of solar energy to power the entire home or even usinmg green paints that are lead-free, the options are endless.

Eco decor is no doubt a better choice when it comes to home decor. A lot of my clients are opting for eco friendly paints and they also keep enquiring me about other options that support the environment. A lot of them have installed solar heaters to do their bit. Going green is also a cost effective solution in the long run.

Going green in every aspect of living is a good thing to start with. Our homes can contribute in amajor way to make sure there is maximum usage of availble natural resources and greener options.

As far as home interiors are concerned, green-paints are an ideal choice. These are lead free and contribute to a healthy and safe environment.

The designs of houses should be eco designs to contribute to make our environment clean and green. The contribution of everyone is necessary to save the earth. The designers can give you the best eco design ideas. The use of renewable resources must be in your house.
