Write an article
On this page you can request to be upgraded to the ‘Contributor’s’ member level so you can summit an article for review. For more information on membership levels, please, visit the info page.
If you do not feel comfortable writing the article online you can alternatively email your article to the editor. Be aware however that articles submitted to the editor will take considerably longer to get published as someone else will need to do the article layout for you.
Before you submit an article however we strongly advice you:
- to read the ‘contributing an article’ section on the info page
- to search the site and verify that the content of your proposed article is not already covered.
- to fill in the list below and wait for a response from the editor. This assures your work will be in line with the requirements of ID-Sphere and will considerably raise the possibilities your article to be published.

Many thanks for your interest to write an article for ID-Sphere. Since we have received so many self promoting articles in the past we require all new potential authors to send us their article by email in Word or PDF first before we upgrade them to the contributor’s level. The automated request form has been removed. View the contact page for contact details.

Initial guideline:
Before putting in all the effort of writing an article make sure your article gets written with the right frame of mind. Articles are meant to become part of a knowledge base that visitors and members can consult to broaden their knowledge on interior design related subjects. So please keep the following guidelines in mind. Articles for the editorial content of ID-Sphere should be informative and not be for personal promotion or the promotion of others. They should be in depth, accurate and without unnecessary adverbs. If reference is made to external material or links are provided they must be clearly meant for informative purposes.
Authors are allowed to give a brief description about themselves at the end of the article including contact details and a link to their own website if they so wish to. Authors can also be included in the A&C page (Authors and Contributors page)
